How long to beat?

I have limited free time so I've gotten pretty addicted to looking up how long it takes to beat a game on howlongtobeat.com. Couldn't find FATE on there and I never beat it back in the day - anyone have a good estimate on how long the core game is with sidequests?

Yeah, it's a infinite dungeon explorer. There is a main boss you do have to beat though.

My understanding is, its supposed to be unlimited, but due to hard numbers, after a certain point, it just crashes

Its been years, but iirc the main boss was on level 60 or 70, and it took me around 20-25 hours the first play.

It's 2,147,483,647 levels and not unlimited based on the developer FAQ. It's the highest number a signed 32 bit integer can reach.

I've won like 8 times. The boss is around level thirty, but don't expect to win too soon, it takes some time. Just remember to invest in mind control spells, it'll help!

just cleared the medium difficulty in about 10 hours casual play. the boss was on floor 46.

Did a run on the second highest difficulty in about 22 hours, completing three town quests on every level except for the last. And doing a fair bit of fishing, for the nostalgia. Boss was on level 45.
