Pet reverted???

So, weird thing that just happened. I permanently turned my dog into a spider a while back.I like to use one temporary transformation on each floor bc I Can and, for some reason, after I did it this time my pet reverted back to being a dog. Is this a known thing or a bug or something? I'm confused.

it should automatically revert to a dog every time you use a different fish on him, even if you used a permanent fish. In other words, if you want your pet to remain in the permanent form, you can never use another fish on him. All "permanent" means is that the transformation doesn't have a time limit.

Some permanent pets are better than others. The scorpefeline is really good. There are a few other top tier pets that are also good for permanent status.

Also, if you ever play Torchlight 1 or Torchlight 2, which at least one Fate developer went on to create, then this same rule applies to the pets there, but they mostly have different types of pets than Fate.
