The problem with that arguement is that they are 10 years old, so I doubt they sell all that well anymore. And honestly, I've seen far cheaper games go on sale during Summer Sale and Holiday Sale...but never these.

i want these games to go on sale.. i got the first to, but short on the last 2 haha, it could be wildtangent who dont want them on sale. so they wont let steam put them on sale. just an idea/guess

I got Fate for free when I bought a computer with Vista back in 2007.

It's long past due for a sale.

I'm checking all sales for the last 2-3 years and it's neven on discount, even the slightest. 8$ for a 10yo game are a lot. When you can buy The Withcer for a couple of bucks, it's ridiculous to pay 8$ for Fate.

I always wonder why so many people think everyone should work for free... Of course, most of them haven't worked a day in their lives yet so they don't understand the concept. If I had made a GREAT game like FATE and found people still loved it 10-15 years later I would be honored...but I still wouldn't be giving it away. If you love it, pay for it.

I find people like you to be complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You have no idea what situation people are in, yet you will continually presume and judge. For the record, I did work...but a medical situation has changed that now, and my wife works(for significantly less than I made) to support us now. It's not the situation I want, but we don't always get what we want...do we?

Seriously, do not sit in judgement on individuals you don't even know or situations you know nothing about.

I sincerly apologize. As a 100% disabled vet who went through litterly 100's of job in the last 45 years I understand your viewpoint. I'm lucky now, in 2011 I was reclassified 100% and the diasbled pension is considerably higher than the SSI.
In my defense I was just venting - I've met hundreds of young people who keep telling me it's ok to pirate movies, CD, games etc since it's "just the corporations that get hurt". You and I are a minority.

I understand...I've met those people myself. I was in a game shop one day where this kid who looked like he was in his early twenties was bragging that he had dupped the system into giving him full disability and now he just collects his check and plays video games all day. Myself and my buddy who is in a wheel chair for life both wanted to beat his ass.

The game is never on sale because Wild Tangent *Never* puts any of their First party titles on sale (This goes for Steam & the Wild Tangent service)

Seriously, ask anyone who used to play Wild Tangent games back in the day all their “Exclusive” titles never went on sale.
A couple more examples would be:
• Final Drive: Nitro[www.wildtangent.ca] (2004) for 9.99$
• Polar Golfer[www.wildtangent.ca] (2004) for 9.99$

Wild Tangent is still in business and controls the price. Steam has no abilty to change the price.
