Did I finish the game?

I have crafted the 3 infused keys and got the 3 gems from their respective ruins. Is there something I should be doing with the 3 kink gems? Is this the end?

If you place the three gems into the infuser then you can create the "Runic Gem of Thandor" which completes the game in the current version. My understanding is that there will be a lot more added in the future including different end goals.

Very confused!! I raised the ten million coins and built the infuser and then produced 500 ruby gems so that I could get the first key. What I actually got from the infuser when I interacted with it was a "Runic Gem of Thandor" not the infused key that I was expecting. That appears to be end game for me which is disappointing as I wanted to search for the three temples once I had produced the three keys. Have I done something wrong, if so I'll reload a earlier save to get back on track. Thanks for any help/advice.

Thanks for reply "Deathwyrm" but why did I get I get the "Runic Gem of Thandor" from the infuser when I thought I would get a key to enable me to find a temple?

Further to my previous question above I have now produced 500 of all the three gem types but when I went to the infuser to attempt to get the three keys required to locate the temples (so I believe) all I have received are three "Runic Gems of Thandor" surely that cannot be correct can it? Also there is nothing showing on my beacon compass to indicate where the temples could be and the achievement for acquiring the "Runic Gem of Thandor" has not opened. Have I done something wrong or is this how it is supposed to end at this stage of early access. Had a good time playing the game but this has somewhat dampened my enthusiasm as I really don't think this should have happened. Unfortunately no you-tuber appears to have reached this end game stage so no help there for me, is there anyone who can advise please.

The way it's supposed to work is you craft the 3 keys to enter the tombs and retrieve the 3 gems that are then placed into the infuser to craft the 'thandor' gem. Getting the 'thandor 'gem instead of the keys is a bug.
AS the dev said, this is the end for now the rest will be added as they continue working on the game.

I do appreciate that it's early access and am not complaining one bit about the state of the game. It's just that I was expecting to get three keys from the infuser so that I could extend my game play further while I searched for the temples. To receive three "Runic Gems of Thandor" instead was a bit of a letdown and if it is a bug why hasn't anyone else encountered this problem? There are a small percentage of people (0.60%) who have the achievements for collecting the three gems and all I wanted to know was why I didn't get that opportunity! I have just under 100 hours of game time played so with regards to value for money it has been a really excellent and enjoyable game to play. I just wish that I wasn't the only one who appears to have been hit by this bug. Thank you for your replies.

Just to make sure I understand this right. You bought a key from the market, infused it with the gems, and didn't receive an infused key, which you could then use with your beacon compass to find the tomb?

Hello "Deathwyrm" thank you very much for responding. What actually occurred is that I went to the infuser with my 500 ruby gems and pressed the infuse key, what I actually received was a "Runic Gem of Thandor" not the key that I was expecting. I then produced 500 of the other two gem types and when I infused them I got two further Runic Gems, so I now have three of them sitting in my inventory!! I don't know what I could have done wrong but is there any way that I should have got Runic Gems from the infuser instead of keys? I really want to know if it's an error on my part or if something else went wrong. Thanks again for any clarity.

Yeah, we're trying to replicate your problem and it's not happening on our end. What version are you on atm? Will say the version in the bottom left?

I would assume that this is the very latest version as my games do update automatically.
Can I add that I only received the Runic Gems when I clicked on the top part of the infuser, that part that glows. Hopefully knowing this will help you solve the issue. thank you for your patience.

Right thank you, we've found that and fixed it. You're meant to press E on the machine and it'll open up a menu that'll give you the infusing option.

Yes I've now gone back to a previous save and am getting the keys that I require. I did actually press "E" to enable me to get the Runic Gems but maybe I shouldn't have pointed to the glowing part of the infuser. All's well that ends well so thanks for your help.
