Training Camp broken
I save the game, came, exited to Desktop, loaded, Portable Drill lost all it's contents.
Saved Game, exited to desktop, when I loaded the game back up all the veins were gone there by ending the tutorial as I couldn't complete it with the Big Mining Drill since there was nothing to mine.

Loading a autosave was the same thing. Am not interested in starting the tutorial all over again for the same thing to happen again.

Thanks, we'll have a look on this.

My problem with Training Camp was I couldn't place the portable miner. I select it but no outline appears. It's also odd that I need five cogs to build it, but the five I built in the previous quest were taken by Grundar, so I had to buy more.

I am getting the same issue as Dr Pericles. I have all of the materials but no outline to build it.
Same here! After loading a game into the training camp, i'm not able to build the portable miner because of no outlines... All other buildings are buildable but not the miner...
The portable miner can be added to one of the 3 surface nodes, not an underground one. I just played through the tutorial last night without issue. The only difference might be that I didn’t do a save or restart so maybe that’s the actual issue.
Me too
I was having the same issue -- however, after a while I realized we're not supposed to put the drill on the ground in the initial dig site and that the ore deposits were off in the corner. When I finally figured out I was supposed to set the navigator to an "ore deposit" and not "iron ore" it led me to the correct spot, and it worked fine. Hopefully this helps others!

It could be helpful having a message/caption appear when a button is clicked while trying to place a machine in an improper place. Something like "Must be placed on top of a deposit" (which fades away on its own) AND the quest-giver actually stating what a deposit is.

I too was trying to place the machines in the ground when I was trying to figure it out. It almost had me rage-quitting (though I would have gone back into the game later). I like the game and I don't think it needs to constantly hold the players hands, but the training camp is missing a little bit of detail for those new to the game play mechanics.
