Sleep???

Seems kinda counter-intuitive to me to have a bed but not be able to sleep through the night. Am I just missing something?

Just curious, why do you want to be able to sleep through the night? There's no extra danger or anything.

This also brings up the topic of what happens to game time if you sleep through the night? Does it simply make the sun come up, or does time actually pass? What happens if a goblin or orc attacks your base while you're sleeping? Do you just wake up to a bunch of missing machines? Does it automatically wake you up if a machine takes damage?
I think the conversation is much larger than just sleeping to make the night go away.

Understandable. In the meantime, do you have a mining helmet? Lights up the dark quite nicely.

tbh i rarely spend time above since all the big nodes r underground

i have a mining helmet and the light sucks on it. does it have a brighter light option? i even space lights everywhere and that doesnt light up anything in the dark
