Feedback after 40+ Hours in Demo and "full" Version
So just as a first note, I see a lot of potential in this game. I love the voxel based mining and the overall design of buildings etc

However, in the current state, there are some frustrating issues which id like to comment on here. Cant say anything about which content to add, but what to fix with the existing one:

Build system, grid and snapping: So that one seems completely broken. Its impossible to line up anything correctly when using grid orientation. when i for example want to place two torches in front of a stone gate placed on the grid of a stone foundation, the grid doesn't allow them to be placed at the same distance from the gate. Its always a few inches off.

You also cant snap foundations to anything, only the other way around. So when you build stairs to a new level of a cave, you cant place foundations connected to them, only floors or walls. This continuous when you want to build separate rooms and start placing stone gates inside a structure on stone foundations. Its almost impossible to fit them with walls as the gates dont snap to walls, only the other way around. and when you try to use the grid, the gate will be offset from the walls.

NPCs and combat: Well, the combat is horribly bare bone and more a chore than fun. Its just kiting and left click spamming with the occasional block. The worst of it however is that Enemies just randomly appear from any direction as they walk on 90° Walls and even on the ceiling.

The fact they can destroy buildings is a double edged sword. It surely makes for more interesting game-play in theory, however: With limited resources, a goblin that bugged itself through walls or just cut 10 stone foundations away with a dagger to destroy your storage container with thousands of gold ingots inside is... frustrating to say the least. I'm not sure how many turrets i would have to place to prevent this. It definitely suggests you to keep your base as small and overseeable as possible, which is bad I think.

Maybe you'd consider adding game options to disable building damage or make resource deposits infinite until that is fixed. If its actually just a skill issue with my base design, feel free to tell me as well.

PS: I do know what i need to be added asap: Multiplayer, a character editor and craftable clothing and armor! A Dwarf in Sandals is just scandalous!
