Does this have resolutions for larger screens/full screen?

I own this on GOG, and love it, but it only plays in a window and there's no way to make it full screen. These days I just can't hack that.

You can set the game resolution by starting the game via the file: Eisenwald_Launcher.exe

It lets you choose between all common resolutions:
From 720p to 4K

The problem with the game is, that it will ONLY run in FullScreen when choosing the same resolution as your desktop.
If you choose smaller resolutions, it will be in windowed mode.


So, to answer your question: Start you game via Eisenwald_Launcher.exe and set it to your desktop resolution and it will be FullScreen.



Be aware though, that, beginning with 2K resolutions upwards, the UI will be really small.
Too small.

To fix this, you need a 3rd party app: Lossless Scaling
With Lossless Scaling you will be able to play with ANY resolution in FullScreen. And thereby with bigger GUI, that will not hurt your eyes while reading.

Lossless Scaling will upscale the windowed mode game into FullScreen in your desktop resolution. Crystal sharp...

I personally play on a 2K monitor/desktop in 1920x1080 game mode, upscaled by Lossless Scaling and benefit from bigger GUI.

Actually, after my first launch, I can't see the 4k resolution anymore, so now I can play it just in a window which doesn't fit the screen.

Even If I change the Options_Game.ini and try to start from Eisenwald.exe instead of the Launcher, I get the launcher with wrong resolution. I can't even get the full screen ingame with alt + enter

ok, I had to disable the windows full screen optimization and the DPI, now I can run 4k, but in Options_Game.ini I saw many intereting features I would like to turn on, so I hope will get my modified settings.
I wrote also in the tech support forum about this
