How much RAM does your system have?
Had the same problem. Solution (for me) : either tick or untick (can't recall it exactly) the 'keep aspect ratio button' in Eisenwald Launcher.
I'm playing at 2560 x 1080 borderless - if that matters
Same problem here after updating to .006. Unable to load any save (including auto-saves). Validating the cache had no effect. Messing around with checkboxes on the Launcher had neither.

Sme thing happened to me yesterday when trying to start the game...same solution worked.. I think!? lol
I wonder why it happens... Sorry for this issues, maybe something to do with Game_options.ini file... We will look into it a bit more.
Being insistent with the checkboxes on the Launcher finally managed to get the game to load saves. Either that or the problem simply healed itself.
I wish I knew what is the reason of this but glad it works out. I thnk it's something related to Game_options.ini file. Trying renaming/deleting it also seems to help in some cases.
Try to disable sound in launcher.
same general solution, unclicked disable loading sounds and saved games loaded!!!

:D

Tyvm!
Yea, I think 'disable sounds' did it
didnt work for me, i already had the disable sounds on before
its just not the saves, cant start a new game
verified game cache, deleted game_options.ini nothing seems to work
Can you try deleting a few older saves?
