where all the percent of Steam users >5% are in blue. Note that all these resolutions are the common laptop resolutions.
The Surface Pro 3 resolution of 2160x1440 is not even listed, but again it did not come out until June 30th of this year. The previous Surface Pro's, 1 and 2, both had 1920x1080 resolutions.
Microsoft is somewhat blazing the way with this new resolution which has a 3:2 aspect ratio, which is probably the best ratio when you want to freely rotate the display, such as if you are using Word and want to edit a document in portrait mode for instance.
The way in which the game is querying the Windows OS about what is the resolution of the main display seems to be somewhat wonky given these mixed results.
