Thomas the Tank Engine

Well so far do good. I have been slowly getting to grips with this sim and can appreciate the tons of available content for it. I would love to get some Thomas the Tank engine stuff for my daughter. I've looked everywhere and so far I've only found one decent site specialising in assets for Trainz but its for 2010 and what I have managed to download doesn't work because its not compatible with 2012. Does anyone know of a source or someone working on Thomas livery for Trainz 2012, or have I missed the train on this one (Excuse the pun lol).

Try jimdo com/locos/ There are a number of thomas engines there. I downloaded Thomas the tank to see if it shows up in trainz 2012 and it does. Make sure you install the dependencies that come with the download :) I was unable to show the full url sorry as steam thought it was a spam ad :(
I forgot to add, download the content for 2010 not 2006. You just got use the bell (b key) in "driver mode" when your daughter is with you...very cool :)

Thanks for that. Yes that is the website I tried. Maybe it was the wrong Thomas model I downloaded. I did try the Sodor Island track but that had tons of elements missing so looked just like a bare landscae with tracks. Shame :(

I checked out that route and there is content from the download station required also. You will find majority of the ground textures, grass etc will be added. The jimdo website link to trainzDepot for the "barum tree set 3" are obsolete trees, so don't get them. The other tree sets are fine.
There are faulty buildings that come with that route as well, and you won't see them ingame. They show up with a red ! in Content Manager and as red wording in "objects" etc menu ingame. I can't help you with fixing the script errors (other than deleting that content) as I don't know how. Some track shows up, you will just need to add the missing bits. It is a nice map.
Thomas the tank engine 2010 is what I installed. "James the red engine" is faulty.

Edit: There are heaps and heaps of trees, 3/4 buried in the map. It is a bit like saying "how long is a piece of string" as to how long it would take to lift them all up.

I did try the Thomas 2010 again and it still seems to have missing parts. The content manager seems unable to find / install them for some reason or am I doing something wrong.

In Content Manager, are there any items in the "Open for edit" tab? If there are select all of them, right click then click on "Edit /Commit".
Here is the list of kuids I have for thomas. I've put builtin for the content that is already in trainz by default. If still missing, just do a google search of the kuid, and/or post it here

I tried this but the Thomas model is still showing the following errors.


Error: Dependency <kuid:44090:4512> is unknown.

I just rechecked that kuid on the download station and it definately is there, It is hiding in the Trainz Classic3 section :)
Anyway, I have saved it to cdp and you can download it here (..snip) Edit: I have now removed the url.
I have that warning texture as well. Thomas wide eyes do not show up. You will see what I mean in the vid clip .

Im having the same problem , exept the rolling stock of lets say trouble some trucks are in the game and working but the engines are marked red and i cannot spawn them , im not a profesional on this kind of stuff so a little help would be much apriciated.

I'm having an issue with a Thomas model I got from Sodor Nostalgia zone

I'm needing the whistle end number: 1049

and these other assets I don't know what they are:

if any of you guys know the location of these assets and know how to download them please send me a link to download them i really want a thomas model for my simulator
