Trainz DLC not working (Updated)

i bought the trainz 12 and then got the Trainz Simulator - Coronation Scot DLC , but it isn't showing up in game at all, I have even done a launcher repair

i found a work around basicly don't buy any DLC to this game on steam get them at http://www.simulatorcentral.com/index.php/ and add the DLC CD Keys to your launcher after getting them from your email, and bam!! the DLC will install, the steam DLC don't work for some reason, probably because you have to add keys to your launcher to install them

The DLC's from Steam work fine. You still have to register the keys on the Auran web site to get them to download. After registration at Auran the DLC's will start downloading when you start Trainz.

i did all that and didnt work thats why i had to buy the keys from there actual website to get the DLC to work, and i only recived the one key (GAME) from steam never got any keys for DLC and there are other people out there that have the same issue as me, thats the reason why i posted this as a work around

it's true but i expected to download them trought steam like in every other game i own... this thing is a bit more tricky that it should be...

downloading from steam and activating from wherever you want it's ok and it's how you expect it to work

don't you need to put the key to the dlc into the options when you start the game and then put the key into a option there ? or idk

yea you need a key for the DLC , for me when i bought it, on steam i never got one, so i bought the DLC from there trainsim website and they gave me the key and i put if in the trainz12 launcher and it worked , steam even knows about it and even gave me a refund on the DLC because there is a issue between the 2 companys for some ppl

If you didn't get a key from Steam then submit a help ticket to Steam. You are supposed to get one for every DLC for Trainz. It should be under the CD key option when you right click the game in the Steam Library. Edit: I have never had to add keys to the launcher with exception to the key for Trainz. All the keys I received were entered at the Auran (N3V) Web site.

look to see if you got the keys if you didnt then contact steam and either get your money back | work some thing out or buy them from the website link and get the keys and add it to the luncher,

how does that work since you have to add the keys to the launcher? i had to do the same thing for the actual game as well

I think you need to register your keys on their website as well. I did that and when I loaded the game, they started downloading IN GAME, not on steam.

did register on aurans website, this post is to help ppl that didnt get keys (like me and or non working DLC) and is a work around.

You need to register the keys both in the Options menu and your profile at Auran website.

I don't know. It just worked. It is probably better to add your keys to both places as Berzeger mentioned.

We are working on a fix where you can download Steam purchased DLCs into your Steam TS12 build even if you do not have a Planet Auran account access.

The fix should reflect in our next public patch.
