Change resolution
Find Options.xml as described here:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/246680/discussions/0/540732596741604351/

Here you can change the resolution, but only if you use windowed mode. Fullscreen will currently always use desktop resolution.
Edit this section:
<rendering> <fullscreen value="false" /> <windowSize value="1920 1080" /> </rendering>

How do you close the Editor? I always have to close the game to get out.

I created a file to just paste into your user folder for windowed mode:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/85yd67psoqljkdo/Options.xml
ATTENTION: this file will cause the game to reset your progress, unless you replace the <versionInfo> section with that from your original Options.xml file (if you ever played before).

Of course you can adapt the resolution to whatever fits for you(r screen).

This works but on Linux the game runs in the middle of two monitors, which dosen't work.

Also, for dual monitor systems, it should run on the primary monitor, not stretch across two

OK, good to know! Did you play it in fullscreen or windowed?
By stretched across two monitors, do you mean, that the game fully covers both screens?

Doesn't work, because it crashed, or because it doesn't make sense to play a game like this?

Yes, it covers both screens. It dosen't crash but it dosen't make sense

Filed a bug report for this. Thanks for reporting this. Meanwhile you should be able to play in windowed mode with a resolution of your choice (see initial post).

Try running in a lower windowed resolution (windowSize), by default the window is as large as the screen what might cause problems

In the next update (Alpha 16) this should be fixed!
I can run it windowed in one screen successfully, I have to use a weird resolution because I'm using ubuntu unity...1879x1057...but a fullscreen borderless mode would be nice

Is there any eta on when we'll be able to change resolution in fullscreen mode? And, if possible, from the game's main menu?
NeuroMnemonic Jul 4, 2014 @ 8:11am
I change the file and save but when I boot the game up it reverts back to

<rendering>
<fullscreen value="false" />
<postProcessing value="false" />
</rendering>

Switching between fullscreen and windowed mode is possible via the main menu -> settings. Also turning on/off postProcessing (via graphic quality). The window resolution has to be adjusted as described in the post.
