Where to find the user (save & log) files

Operating System

Windows:
Navigate to the game folder and find them in 'save/'. Usually:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Secrets of Raetikon\save

Or right click on the game from your library, click 'Properties'. On the tab 'local files' click on 'browse local files…', find the folder 'save/'

Mac:
Open Finder, press CMD + Shift + G, paste this:

~/Library/Application Support/Secrets of Raetikon/

Linux:
Open Files, press CTRL + L, paste this:

~/.secrets-of-raetikon/

Files

Options.xml - This contains your settings (fullscreen, resolution, controlls, volumes, ...)
Ginkgo.log - The logfile generated by the game. please attach this file for bug reports
sync/ - This folder holds the progress for the main game (and all other packages). Delete it to start fresh!
packages/ - This folder holds all user generated packages (from the editor).

Since Alpha 14 the user files have been re-located to the games' folder. The description above has been updated to reflect that.

If you want to restore your old settings/ the editor content you made, you can just copy everything from the old folder to the new one (see * above).

The save game path on Mac and Linux changed since the release version! I already updated them in the original posting.
