Please help! How to change resolution for this game?

Hello together, I am using a dual Monitor Setup, resolution of both 2560x1440. The game stretches to far, so that it covers 20% of the second monitor. I just wish to play the game normally in 1440p on my primary monitor.
I already read the other threads, not that you think I haven't tried. The goal is to play in fullscreen with the game ONLY filling my primary monitor.

Sadly my options.xml file looks like that:

Any ideas how to play in fullscreen mode normally in 1440p are appreciated!

Had the same problem with a 4k monitor here. I think I have had some luck with the scaling settings in the compatibility menu for the exe file. I've posted an link showing where I made the changes. Hopefully it works.
