Is anyone else having issues with just constantly having NO wins cause of it? I literally infected greenland first 4 times and it kept surviving.

Hell i went to the extent of modding the game and DISABLING cures and it still won.

The people of Greenland are tough. The moment they feel a cold coming on, they stand outside in the snow in only their underwear until the disease freezes to death. Then they walk back into their house and get back to what they were doing. The whole process takes, maybe, five minutes? Maybe ten for more serious diseases, like ebola.

Makes sense, any tips? I should mention this isn't really a complaint, just looking for suggestions/tips lol

The best tips are actually my usual strategy. Don't evolve any symptoms until the entire world in infected. They don't start working on a cure until symptoms start showing (usually around the second one, in my experience). Once you get the message that the whole world is infected, then go for the kill by evolving lethal symptoms as quickly as possible.

With some of the plagues this strategy isn't quite as reliable (e.g. nanovirus, where the cure begins immediately). It also isn't the way to get a high score, since this strategy takes quite some time to complete a game. But it works for most of the plagues.

Addition: I see that you've won with bacteria, at least. One thing that can help is to unlock all of the genes - those things you can use when you set your game up to make your plagues stronger. The easiest way to unlock these is to save the game right before you win. Then simply reload that save and win again. And again. And again. Every time you win, you unlock a new gene.

My tip is to invest in water transmission early on. Most of the time Greenland will get infected through shipping trade routes. You don't need to wait for the entire world to be infected, that won't work as well on higher difficulties. I suggest just focusing on getting a few people infected in most of the island nations, including Greenland, before buying symptoms.
