Start a Casual game in Saudi Arabia and take Hyper Salivaiton, Polyphagia, and Gastroenteritis . Next, work on Transmissions: Blood 1, Air 1, Air 2, Saliva 1, Saliva 2, Water 1, Water 2. Next work on Resistances: Cold Resistance 1, Cold Resistance 2, Heat Resistance 1, Drug Resistance 1, Drug Resistance 2. Wait until every country is infected then take , Autophagia, Acute Encephalitis, Insomnia, Fever, Photophobia, Coma and Genetic Hardening. Devolve Delirium, Psychosis and Cannibalism whenever they mutate. This will take a very long time to do, but it will work. If for some reason the cure ever gets to 95%, buy a Genetic Reshuffle. I just retested this method and it took 3694 days to wipe out the world and the cure progress was at 89% (without any reshuffles).
Unfortunately that's the biggest problem with getting the achievement. That's why I like the more conservative method of devolving Delirium, Psychosis and Cannibalism whenever they mutate just to be safe. It will take longer because you won't kill as fast, but it prevents the zombie symptom from being evolved.
Creationist does help, but it doens't prevent random mutatoins entirely, it just reduces the chance. This is why I like Catalytic Switch: you get plenty of extra DNA from popping research bubbles to cover the cost of devolving the 3 symptoms adjacent to the zombie one. I belive that the random mutation chance is also higher on Casual, but the slower research speed compensates for this.
Note I never seen zombies auto evolve so far if theres none zombie symtoms to pick.
I did it similar to Barry McCockinner but I started in Greenland and didnt buy any right hand symptoms at all.
