How to get a really high score?

The leaderboards are full of high scores in the hundreds of millions, I simply can't see how these scores can be achieved, is there a bug or are these guys useless at the game and resorted to cheating or lying about their scores just to get their name on the leaderboard?

R4gegamingstudios, you really need to improve your game tactics, 64 is a pathetic score.

I have destroyed humanity with all the disease types on brutal mode yet the highest score achieved was only approx 114,000. How can I improve upon this without cheating.

I got full everything severe etc with only 25% or so left to get to full lethal and this is on casual!

Is this a bug (im using mobile version)

Try this.

Concentrate on the infection, devolve any symptoms, try by evolving air and water only and heat or cold resistance if infection slows in hot or cold countries, always wait until all islands e.g greenland, madagascar, new zealand etc. are infected before you start killing. Hope that helps.

Hmm did not work i did what you said i got a score of 52.

I can't confirm this myself but it would seem logical that you would get a higher score by doing the following

a) killing off the population as quickly as possibly
b) keeping the cute research as low as possible.
c) effective use of your DNA points. in other words the fewer the better

as I said, those would be the logical things that to me would increase your overall score. that's just my working theory at the moment, but youo never know, it might actually be right

Your score is going to be extremely low unless your disease kills all humans. In order to do that, you need to make sure you've infected all countries. Once that is complete, then upgrade your symptoms to kill. At the same time, your disease cannot be so deadly that it kills every infected in every country before 100% worldwide infection.

Don't worry too much about the leaderboards: everyone at the top used a third party program to cheat. You should just aim for getting 5/5 (or 3/3 for scenarios), which is based on a composite of how fast you win and how low the cure percentage is.

Trust me, you're not going to get any high scores by trying to be stealthy, especially on Mega Brutal. You pretty much have to be aggressive on Mega Brutal just to win in the first place.

I generally go for infection and resistance and just let the symptoms mutate as they will and I win just about every game.
