Plague Inc was inspired by the Pandemic games, yet is much more advanced. Origionally an app for smart phones, Plague Inc: Evolved is currently still in developedment and will improved even beyond that.
The game will included 9 different virus types, 2 of which the, Necroa and Neurax Worm were DLC which you had to pay for in the smart phone version... as were the various other dlc content, all of which you are getting for free here. The DLC would have added up the single purchase price for this game.
However, when finished, this game will also include multiplayer, custom senarios, and steam workshop support.
It already includes much improved graphics, sound, music and gameplay balence, along with an extra Meega Brutal difficulty level.
In this game, many consider that Greenland is the new Madagascar, but nowhere is impossible to infect.
Edit: I'll also point out that the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), invited the creator of Plague inc to talk to them about its distribution model as they felt it was so good, it would help raise awareness of how infectious diseases could spread.
I'd say thats pretty damn impressive and a testiment to how much improved over the likes of Pandemic this game is.
Its just the latest cash in port from mobile apps. this game has been around for ever all the devs are doing is shining up the graphix a bit take a game that all ready devolped and charging 15 bucks for it.
