How is this different from Dark Realm Studio's free browser games?
I've played and love the various free Pandemic games that Dark Realm Studio has released for browsers over the years so this game is very interesting to me. The price point is a bit high (for me) but steam sales are pretty common so it's on my wishlist.
Other than improved graphics and more options for the virus, how is this game any different than the free browser games?
Is Madagascar still almost impossible to infect?
Are Dark Realm and Ndemic Creations related in any way?

Thanks

(If the dev reads and responds I'd really be interested in how you set the price considering the other options out there but that's merely curiosity. Your game, your price.)

Please read the store page, most of this I'm about to explain is already there.

Plague Inc was inspired by the Pandemic games, yet is much more advanced. Origionally an app for smart phones, Plague Inc: Evolved is currently still in developedment and will improved even beyond that.

The game will included 9 different virus types, 2 of which the, Necroa and Neurax Worm were DLC which you had to pay for in the smart phone version... as were the various other dlc content, all of which you are getting for free here. The DLC would have added up the single purchase price for this game.

However, when finished, this game will also include multiplayer, custom senarios, and steam workshop support.

It already includes much improved graphics, sound, music and gameplay balence, along with an extra Meega Brutal difficulty level.

In this game, many consider that Greenland is the new Madagascar, but nowhere is impossible to infect.

Edit: I'll also point out that the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), invited the creator of Plague inc to talk to them about its distribution model as they felt it was so good, it would help raise awareness of how infectious diseases could spread.

I'd say thats pretty damn impressive and a testiment to how much improved over the likes of Pandemic this game is.
