Go for the classics: (norses) Tiamat, Midgard, Fenrir, Kraken; (demons and mesopotamian), Abbadon, Moloch, Nergal, Marduk, Ba'al, Leviathan; (greek) Chimera, Hydra, Basilisk, Cyclop, Fury, Erinia, ...

You have the "scary death words": Reaver, Marauder, etc.

Or be more playful: Make a Prion named Nyarlathotep and start it in Egypt. Or a Parasite named Hastur, and focus it on driving the infected insane (insomnia, paranoia, dementia, etc) - you may make him start in Leng, if you are able to find it -.

You can also be more creative: Create a nanovirus named Reaper and start it's invasion in Canada (Mass Effect saga players would understand).

I, personally, have destroyed the world with my beloved virus Ulysses, who was so brutal I have to tone it down so it won't annihilate the world too fast. And, because I am a romantic, have named my fungus "The Last of Us"... d'awww.

An airborne virus/bacteria that caused hemofilia, internal bleeding, pulmonary fibrosis, etc (that is, a mess of blood)? Blood Cloud.

Damn, I forgot! Me, a veteran, veteran of the Neverwinter sagas... how could I have forgotten about THE WAILING DEATH?! That's perfect for a Bioweapon (apart from names like Vengeance, Revenge, Retribution, Purity, etc... but those sole for B-Weapons), or at least for an incredibly difficult to cure plague (and also erratic in its infections).

If you have played the original Deus Ex, then Grey Death is a must, and it's category is obvious.

Also, If we had the Black Death, why not the White Death? Specially if it starts in Iceland, Greenland, Russia, Scandinavia or Canada...

I always name bacteria and fungus fat and blunt names, i combine two insects together for a parasite name. For viruses and prions, i name them something sharp and lethal sounding. For the Nano Virus and Bio Weapon i name it like it was made by a human, for example : (codename) (numbers) (roman numeral)
