It was only $1 if you don't count any of the IAPs or any of the add-ons that the PC version has. I do agree that it might be a bit high, but it isn't as bad as your post suggests.

I would've considered this game more seriously if it was 10$ + linux support or 5$ without it.

But devs are pushing their luck with 15$ imo.

I base the worth of a game on how much fun it is to play and this game is alot of fun...it is worth the price tag it has.

No what is plain rude is the level of ignorance toward ANY rational or understanding as to WHY the game price is increased.

Go download PI for tablet and do me a favour and count up all the micro transactions and extra content and realise that ALL that content is INCLUDED with the PC version ... aswell as more to come and a promise of no charges for future content.


It staggers me how ignorant and entitled some of you are coming off as in these forums. It's like you expect people to make games for a living for a pittance ... makes me wonder how many of you are actually living in the real world and not sponging off mummy and daddy while they keep a roof over your head.

There's this wonderful thing called research. You check whether a game developer's reputation is good before buying their game, and then you can find out whether they have a track record of being reliable when it comes to this kind of stuff. Ndemic has always been reliable in my experience, so I decided to trust them when they said that the game would be out of early access and have all the listed features in a few months.

Few people are taking the perspective that $0.99 for the mobile version was a BARGAIN.

Multiplayer alone justifies the price for me. It's definitely on my wishlist. We're helping the developer make Plague Inc even better. With Steam notoriety, hopefully they'll be able to make more great games once Plauge Inc is complete.

15$ is a bit much i mean obviously not expensive but for this sort of game i personally would have kept it at 10$ or lower. But it's just my opinion. I do enjoy the game a lot but i still agree 15$ is to much.

Well with the iPhone app, you still had so much in-app stuff to buy and I'm guessing with the 14.99 price tag, EVERYTHING is included and plus more in the future
