also due to multiplayer options it might be always online required. we will find out more when the game is live but for now expect it to require steam early access peeking software.
I can't play, the game sends me a message saying that I need Steam running to play, to close the game, run Steam and try again, but I obviously have Steam running, any ideas?
Game doesn't work.
Don't be a drama queen. Stuff like this happens in Early Access, sometimes. Contact the devs, be patient, and it'll get resolved. Acting like you're being "screwed" just makes you look really impatient. It's not a good way to look in public.
Finding the output_log.txt
- In the Steam Client on the Library tab Right click Plague Inc:Evolved.
- Click properties. Then click the local files tabs and then the browse local files button.
- This will open an explorer window, open the PlagueIncEvolved_Data folder.
- Copy and paste the output_log.txt to your desktop.
- Attach this file to an email and send to steamsupport@ndemiccreations.com
Fallback handler could not load library E:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/PlagueInc/PlagueIncEvolved_Data/Mono/libE:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/PlagueInc/PlagueIncEvolved_Data/Plugins/SteamworksNative.dll
Could not load a dll file. Make sure that the steam_api.dll/libsteam_api.dylib file is placed at the correct location. See the documentation for more info.
