New update | Plague Inc: Evolved comes to Mac!

I am excited to officially release Plague Inc: Evolved on Mac! At the same time we've fixed a number of bugs and made a number of graphic / performance improvements for all users including PC.

Mac users - please get in touch and let me know how you find it!

We have a lot of cool stuff coming in the future - currently we are working hard on adding the (long anticipated!) scenario creator into the game. We will also be adding a new Special Plague type - more information here in the next week or so! :)

There is always getting an Bootcamp of the game and play it with 10-30 FPS on Windows.

I got the exaclt same issue. I am running an old system with Mac OSX 10.8.6, 2,4 GHz dual core and 4 GB RAM. Do you have any idea what could be the issue?

I just opened the game today to play and the menu and the graphics is now working fine. Im not sure why, I havent changed any of the settings. If this issue appears again Ill be sure to email you a screenshot :)

Hi again - could you also let us know which Windows Surface Pro you are using 1,2 or 3? Thanks. Please do the screen-shoting using the Steam F12 option if possible. Ta :)

Just bought the game and same issue here. And i have a Nvidia GEFORCE 9400 (i think it's a good graphic card).

I think the problem all the Mac-users are having are connected to the "This game is not supported on volumes formatted as Mac OS Extended Journaled (Case Sensitive)" found the Additional Notes under the Mac's System Requirement section.
Any news on this """"little thing""""? Keep in mind that almost every Mac comes formatted in that format :/

Does it makes sense being an 13 year old who is best as troubleshooting old unworking programs when I was using Windows before?

OK, a couple things I found out for us Mac users.

UPDATE YOUR OS! There have been a couple of stealth updates, and one that you have to go to the Mac store and download and install. Did this, solved the problems I was having with a couple games.

Run it full screen if you can get to the options. Not full-screen has graphic issues, sound issues, and pointer accuracy problems.

On that: One thing is the ergonomic mouse has a bad tendency to zoom. Might I suggest figuring out a way to make it so it isn't zooming me in all the way at the slightest graze of my palm?

The pointer is really hard to see at times. (Had this problem on the PC now and then) Might I suggest something like a stroke around it in a color easy to see?

Other than that, after 2 hours, nothing major.

yeah, no prob; im happy to help for a game i'm planning to buy (im currently waiting on it to get a lower discount :C )
