To easy to hack, needs anti-cheat...
The mp is to easy to cheat in multiplayer, u can easy us CE and get 99999999999 dna points.

Game code is checked on both machines - any cheating will desync the game and add a 'black mark' to the cheater's account. You can never win a game by cheating.

Don't worry though - will be keeping a close eye on this to see how it develops

Why would people want to cheat this game? Winning doesn't give you much other than a point towards the next unlock, and playing a game always gives you a gene anyways.

And cheating will greatly kill the fun factor in this game, making it moot to even bother doing so compared to other competitive games (this game will have co-op and such).

Oh and Cheat Engine isn't hacking, it's hex editing.

'Black marks' stack and deprioritise you for games. Eventually, you won't be able to find any!

So that i won't never get matched into a game again?
If anything they should go away after a 100 games or so. I used it to test it's viability in the beta and once to see if anything had changed in multiplayer.

Don't want them sticking around for that.

Unfortunately, with games like Dota and such that grants you the ability to 'sell' goods on steam marketplace for steam credits, people can rebuy games and start cheating again.

This is how bad steam has become these days, and people don't even bat an eyelid when i claim that h1z1's battle royale is only going to make everything worse (people sell masks and such for hundreds of steam credits in dollars)... People CHEAT BR, they do it to get loot. They sell the loot for credits to buy or trade games, or worse, they trade items online with others, but make deals at the same time to make real cash!

There's a reason why blizzard closed their auction house... People were trading under the table with real money to bypass the auction house's cuts into the pricing.

@LAG, 'tested it out', you're a real stand-up individual. Thats why they have developers. It's not your job to find the cheats. It's your job to have the morals to not use them.

this isn't facebook, quote my post.

It was our objective to find bugs, that is why they released the beta.
togheter with another person we tested out and found that you can check the game logs to find out where both people started. You don't think that beta was simply some pre release or seomthing did you? it's riddled with bugs and glitches that we were supposed to find and report.
