Your average wait time in Multiplayer QuickMatch?

Just as the title suggests, I'm wondering how much time you guys wait on average to get a match. I've actually been sitting here waiting for 10mins, so I'm wondering if that's normal, or maybe there's something wonky going on in the match-making system.

Also, just want to point out, it does say "estimated wait time under 2 minutes" but that doesn't seem to be the case for me. Has anybody else had issues getting a game?

Hmmm, must be something to do with me and my match-making. Did you use any Genes? Maybe the match-making system only matches people with genes, or people without genes, but doesn't let them mix. If that's the case, I'm probably ♥♥♥♥ out of luck until more people come online and play the multiplayer for the first time :P

200+ games going. look in the upper right corner.

Just started out with no genes, but you get them after fights. Wasn't affected at all.

Yeah I know there's lots of games going, but it's possible that everbody has genes so far. I mean I can't think of any other reason for not being able to get a match. I even cancelled and restarted and I'm waiting here for 13mins

Genes would make no difference. V strange to hear you waited this long (average wait time is ~30 seconds currently)

Potentially, it is an issue with our matchmaking code (which tries to make people of similar skill levels and regions)
What country are you in - and how many games have you won / lost

Well, i'm glad to hear that it isn't anything to do with Genes at least!

I'm based in Egypt and I haven't played any games, so I'm guessing that's the issue, the match-making code can't find anybody who's also not played any games, or they are already lined up for other people.

Just updated the game half an hour ago, so haven't tried the multiplayer at all.

It should be noted that i participated in the beta and therefor had about a dozen games under my wings by the time it was released.

My first battle was against someone that had only played once though.

I crushed him with ease of course.

Same problem here , was upto 15mins before then reset it and still no luck . Im in New Zealand and only played 1 other game that i won . The frustration is real , was very fun

Ok so for some reason the matchmaking seems to be on/off. I got two matches really quickly, but the majority of times I wait around 5mins before restarting the matchmaking.

I should also point out that I have 1 win and 1 loss so far.

My wait time varies slitghly, from 30 seconds to around 2 minutes.

In terms of skill matching: I have 47 wins out of 53 games, I meet players with good statistics as well as players with not-that-good statistics.
When there are lots of online players around, I can find players matching my stats but now, because of the late hour, it's way more random.

Hmmm. and I'm stuck here waiting for 14mins. Can I ask, where are you based? Maybe the match-making system is based on geography.

Anyway, you can be sure the devs will work on the matchmaking to make it more efficient, no worries. It's always like that, when a new multiplayer game comes out, there is always some small stuttering at start. The game is online since less than 12 hours and it's already working nicely, it will go even better soon.
