Unlocking more plagues in coop
Can I unlock more plagues by playing with a friend or does it has to be against other players online?

I believe you can unlock them by winning five matches with a person in co-op, friend or otherwise. However, I am not entirely sure. Try playing a few matches on Normal with a friend and winning five of them. That should unlock a new disease type.

Exactly.
You unlock randomly a new plague every 5 wins.
And it works by winning in casual with a friend.
