Game won't launch

Whenever I boot up the game, a black screen shows up, then a white screen, then the game stops responding. Is there a way to fix this? Because I really want to play the game.

Yeah, I have the same problem too. I'm using Windows 8. Before I did play this game, I unlocked virus. Today it's not starting.

EDIT: The game starts now. I tried the third time and changed nothing.

Delete and re-install the game, verify the integrity of the game cache, make sure your drivers are up to date, and if this doesn't help, try running Steam in Admin Mode.

I didnt even need it. i just started the game a third time and i works now. Maybe there is a difference between windows 8 (which I use) and other windows version (or linux LOLOLOLOL).

Same here. Game will not start on Linux. Just a black window and a big cursor. I did integrity check of local files and all seems ok. Any ideas ?

Update: steam client restart did the trick :)

Could someone help? The game doesn't work on my computer, I've restarted Steam, My Computer and Uninstalled then Reinstalled Plague Inc. and it still gives the same non-responsive result.. A Black Screen then White followed by the game shutting down.. I don't know what to do and it's making me a bit frustrated.

Sorry to hear that. Worth checking this list first. then if that does not help, run the game then grab the log and send it us so we can take a look.
