Cordyceps Scenario idea

I love plague inc., its deaseases and scenarios ,but I would like the Cordycepts fungi do be added to the scenarios or deaseases.Why? If you chack the articles and documentaries made about the Cordyceps fungi, you will notice that it is perfect for plague inc. In case you are not familliar with the Cordyceps I can give you a quick definition: It is a fungus that can infect most incects and it's able to control its host and make it attack the non-infected of its species. When the fungus wants to, it makes the incect climb in a high tree/plant and there it dies. Some days or hours later (depends on the incect) the fungus grows something that looks like tentacle (I could not find a word for it sorry for that) and grows spores on it. When that procces is complete, the spores burst in order to infect other incects. If you want to know more google the word "cordyseps"

So the scenario is basicly the cordyseps starting to infect humas and having the same (and mabe more symbtoms) with the incects. So what do you think?

Sounds enough like the Neurax Worm and Necroa that I can't imagine that it would be too difficult to code in. That being said it may be too similar to be bothered with. The Last of Us where the user gets to call the shots; I am interested in the idea. Would you interact with someone with a tendril coming out of their skull?
