Newgrounds ?

Am I the only to remember playing this on Newgrounds ? Zero mention about that in the birthday announcement , but I don't think it was in 2011 as I'm sure that I was college when I played Plague inc on Newgrounds , which would have put it a few years before . Does anyone else remember it on Newgrounds ?

If you think the game existed in 2011 your memory is simply incorrect. Neither game existed in 2011. Ndemic creations (the company that made it) wasn't even founded until January 2012.

Plague INC (the original) was launched in May 2012 and was only for phones and mobile devices (IOS and Android), three years later it was released for windows phone (2015). Plague INC wasn't on PC.

Plague INC Evolved (this version of the game, the forum you are on) did not even exist until 2015 when it was released for Xbox One, followed a year later by PC, PS4 and Switch in 2016. (which is the same year it launched on Steam)

Not a false memory at all but a suspiciously similar game called Pandemic on Newgrounds , was released 2007-2008 .. which also was when I was going to college ... so before you start on False memories , you could have just done the wikipedia search that I just did

there was even some controversy on the release of Plague Inc because of it ... It wasn't until the devs of Pandemic made a statement saying that Plague , though very similar was not a clone . That the controversy subsided

If you were in college during those years, I'm nearly triple your age. You might want to consider learning from people who give you information, especially when it's you that was wrong and now you're just being defensive about how you had to go figure out your mistake.

No where did I say I didn't remember new grounds, even your attempts to be insulting are just silly, all I told you was Plague INC wasn't on it and I was right.

You've now been wrong about not just when the game launched, but also your guess at my age. Are there any further mistakes you would like for me to correct today?

the game was called pandemic and pandemic 2, those are the flash games that you remember that are just like this game, youre welcome :D

I remember playing pandemic 1 and 2 back in like 2009/2010, I thought plague inc was made by them for a while

yup, newgrounds and kongregate.

imo plague inc is absolutely a copy of the pandemic and pandemic 2 flash games. almost an exact duplicate. you can't tell me the guys who made it didn't play the flash version lol.

they're lucky the one who made the flash game didn't get after it.

yup, newgrounds and kongregate.

There's nothing to go after, simply being the same theme isn't any kind of infringement legally.
