Why does the $0.99 Microsoft Store version have 2 more disease types than the $15 PC version?

I'm looking at the Microsoft Store version for 99 cents, and it shows 12 disease types... However on the Steam page, it shows having only 10....


Why? They're both the same Mobile game port - but why does the Microsoft store version get more?

I'm thinking of buying this since it is on sale for $5 on Humble Bundle, but I still think it is $4 too much because of the 99 cent price tag on mobile... And now I see more disease types on the less expensive version so it makes no sense to pay more for the same experience on PC with fewer features...

Can anyone explain this?

Where you getting the 12 Disease Types from? Cause there is only 10 in every version of the game.

I didn’t see it in the description when I had a look. It’s an old typo. The amount of diseases between the mobile version and PC version are exactly the same

2 things jump out to me:
"+ Offers in-app purchases"
Minimum requirements Windows 8 mobile,Windows 8.1.

I don't know how microsoft handle things across platforms, I still use a mobile I bought in 2004 so can't exactly check anything in that regard but it certainly sounds like they are listing the mobile version there.

Thanks for checking in! There is no PC version in the Microsoft store. This is the version of Plague Inc. for Windows Phone, not Plague Inc: Evolved. The discrepancy in diseases is a typo we're aware of.
