is it impossible to infect or something? i started in 2018 and its now in 2026 and greenland is the only country not infected

It is not impossible, it is the consequence of your mistakes.

Greenland is only connected to Norway and Russia by boat. And Norway is not an easy country to infect in single player. So the key to enter in Greenland is Russia (almost only).

In single player it is good to start in Saudi Arabia for various reasons. But it also means that you will get a penalty in humid climates and a penalty in cold climates. Russia and Norway are both cold and humid.

So it means that when you start in Saudi Arabia, you need to evolve soon enough Sheeps 2, Water 2 and Cold 2.

Also, if you were still ingame in 2026, it means that there is something wrong in your build. You should have been cured for longtime if you had been playing a normal way.

There is no reason not to get Greenland by boat if you have :
- water 2 (or even 1)
- infected Russia completly (not entered into, but really spreaded in)
- the harbors open in both Russia and Greenland

You may have to wait for a few weeks, but not years.

Yeah, Greenland is annoying. And why does it not have a ship to Germany (since Denmark is considered part of Germany in this game) or Canada?!

On the default map, boats to Greenland can only come from Norway and Russia.
In the scenarios, these routes can be modified.

i was in the scenario creator; i have the stats here:
-the sea routes to and from greenland link only to norway and russia
-on average a boat will go to or from greenland every 25 days
-canada does not have a sea route to greenland

Actually, they can't. You can send planes to any country you want, but for some reason new ship routes cannot be created, though you can edit the existing ship routes.

That's probably the boat from Russia (or was it Norway?) that looks like it's going to Greenland but turns around and goes to Canada at the last second.

Well when you are staring at Greenland mid-late game to make sure they get infected I'm sure a boat left from Canada, maybe there was an update or something but I am 100% sure of it

On the PC version it's possible only in a scenario.
