And no one is really sure what the song is about. It may be an innocent children's rhyme, nothing more. It may be related to Paga rituals involving flowers and rose bushes. It may be about the Great Plague, it may be about the Black( Plague) Death. It may be about none of them, just growing its own "legend" over a century or 2 of recitation.
Unless you are the one who authored it, and you traveled through time to debunk all of the most common and popular takes on the song and the children's game... shut up. You do not know for sure which one it is.
And p.s.- in some places the song is "Ring Around A Rosie" or "Ring O' Ring O' Rosie" or even "Ring A Ring O' Roses".
Do more than read Wikipedia and lock in on one or two lines on the page kiddo.
Pretty simple idea- since most people associate the song/rhyme/children's game with The Great Plague or Black Plague, the connection is pretty obvious. Most people hear that song and immediately think of people getting sick and falling over dead.
Which is kind of the concept and point of the game. Plague. You try to kill the entire world by infecting them. Pertty simple concept.
Seriously, how can the connection not be seen here? Don't ever try to get a job in Marketing or Sales. Anywhere.
Stop worrying about video games being factually inaccurate. They are GAMES, not educational resources.
Start worrying about the world education systems that have people like you thinking that video games are where the world goes to learn history.
