Achievement question regarding "Unlock Cheatmodes"

It says I have to beat every disease type on normal difficulty - is that litteral?
I've completed them all on mega brutal, most of them I didn't even do normal because I went from casual straight to megal brutal...

So do I have to beat them all on normal difficulty to unlock this achievement or should beating them all on mega brutal be sufficient?

Beating them on Mega Brutal will be sufficient I believe. That's how it works on the mobile version at least.

If not then if you beat them on Mega Brutal you *should* be able to beat them on normal!

Have you beat every plague type on Mega-Brutal (including the 'special' plague types - Simian Flu and Shadow Plague) and not unlocked the cheats?

Yes I have, although I noticed that the game didn't show the icon for mega brutal completion.
I also noticed that I don't have the mega brutal achievements for Simian-Flu and the Shadow plague, even though I have completed them on that difficulty. So I'm going to beat them again and see if somehow its an issue on my end.

So I just completed the normal ones and I got the achievement for those, which unlocked the cheat modes, but only some of the cheats were unlocked.

Only half of the cheats unlock via completing every Plague on Normal - the rest are unlocked by beating them all on Brutal. Beating on Mega-Brutal should definitely unlock these too.

Yes, I am aware of that, but thank you for clarifying that. I realize that my reply gave you reason to believe I didn't know.
