so i was playing with a virus and i accidentally killed people too fast and ended up with a bunch of dead people in greenland and no infected people but i noticed not 1 healthy person there got infected from a dead body like necrosis claims to do???

There are other factors the game calculates, like how rural the country is, whether the survivors have gone into lockdown, whether they're burning corpses, etc. There's quite a bit to factor in to your strategy; there's no God-powered symptom, and the healthy people can fight back, so you've got to have at least a couple of avenues.

I've pretty much always needed cold lvl 2 to gain much traction in Canada, Greenland, and Iceland, so that is a strong possibilty.

They're talking about the necrosis symptom in the standard plagues, not the necroa virus.

Greenland and Iceland...smh...my worst 2 countries. They seem to have a knck for medical emergencies and cure research. I had a plague eating up humanity. All of a sudden Iceland is curing the disease and all my DNA was in fighting the cure and making it more communicable. If I DO manage to get greenland and Iceland ( getting Russia and the Nordic countries to its West) I seem to miss out on Malaysia and New Zealand.
