House of the Dead: Overkill - LOCAL MULTIPLAYER

How can I play the house of the Dead: Overkill in local multiplayer, i can see the Player and Player scoreboard when i check all the submenus of games, but I did not find any way to play the game in LOCAL MULTIPLAYER. Can you help me? Thanks.

I'm not talking about the tYPING of the Dead, but THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD, the one you can play with the last menu item House of the Dead: OVERKILL (wich is a normally a full console version ported to PC)

2 players cant play on the same computer. I tried playing with mouse and xbox controller to see if it will allow both for 2p but it wont. Sorry, i guess the only way is Online multiplayer..

unless you have 2 different computers int he same house with 2 accounts that have the game.....the you can invite that person to play........but i doubt you meant that.

I hoped to play with two xbox controller in local because i saw the scoreboard ingame with Player 1 | Player 2

I got this game from a Sega bundle, and I was pretty excited about this title because I thought it would have Local Co-Op, and there's nothing better than having some great time with friends on your couch having some old-school arcade shooter fun.
Finding out it doesn't have Local Co-Op was pretty dissapointing. I even find hard to find a reasong for having this game consuming space in my hard drive.
