online rpg but singleplayer only?
ok, could someone explain that to me please? like the store page description mentions this right at the top:

"Prepare for an epic adventure collecting Porbles to aid you in turn-based battles in this pixel-art online RPG."

but looking at the info on the right it mentions only singleplayer, achievements and family sharing...

so yea, was this some sort of oversight or intentionally misleading or what?

Hi there. Thanks for pointing this one out. It was indeed an oversight from our past

The original version during the demo was fully online. But one of the major complaints we got was it was affecting the gameplay for many.
So we shifted Portal Fantasy to an offline experience, to provide a consistent gameplay experience without the dependency on server and internet connectivity.

You can find the original post here

Again, thanks for pointing out that we had completely missed the word online was still there

heh no worries, just got kinda confused, since while i don't really like fully online games of this genre i'd prefer to be able to do battle against friends from time to time, so i simply had to ask ;)
but since it's actually fully offline i doubt that would be possible and so i'll have pass on it for the time being, but will definitely keep it on my list, just in case my taste changes or something.

No problem. PvP is in the plans for a future release tho, so it might tickle your fancy after that update
