But, my question for the developer is why can`t they give us a native VR mode ?
Why do we have to rely on mods when a VR mode can be implemented easily by enabling a few plugins ?
I would say you are overthinking it.
There is no need to put the game in 1st person.
It is a common misconception that VR needs to be 1st person or even works best that way.
Just think of a VR headset as a way of simulating being surrounded by a massive curved monitor filling your entire field of view but with the added depth/sense of scale that comes with a stereoscopic view,
Just this "visual upgrade" over playing on a flat screen makes any game WAY more intense and compelling.
What I am talking about is the game rendering two camera views (one for each eye) offset by the IPD (distance between your eyes) so you perceive the game world with the correct depth and scale. You feel like you are inside the game world as opposed to looking at it through a window.
This video should make it clearer how 3rd person works in VR.

lol okay bud, I bet they're gonna be starving this winter without your $20
Where i can find the mode please?
Unfortunately the mod is not working with the current version of the game. I have not found a way to rollback the game to the earlier version on steam either. Maybe the mod author will update the mod.
