I mean, from video on steam it looks exactly the same as free version. Why would they sell it on price and expect people to buy? Is there anything new on game, something different from the free version?
People can't you read or something?
First of all this version includes all heroes and stuff that you have to buy for far more in the "free" version so should you buy one hero and some stars or whatever, it will be already as expensive as this.
Also this isn't a simple port, it's fully remade for PC and it's not in ♥♥♥♥♥♥ flash anymore. Next thing is that there will be additional content added later in form of free updates.
And also this game got here through Steam Greenlit do you know what that means? People themselves wanted the game here and they knew it would obviously cost money.
Howgh.
It's essentially like buying the "access to everything"-version, with fullscreen capabilities (also 16:9 resolutions) and a sharper image.
Have a nice day.
?
Thanks for explanation.
Thank you too, mister.
Maybe I wasn't quite clear on this one. It means you get access to all premium content with the steam version. You do, of course, still have to play the game to progress.
Please dear Sir, I'm sure you are able to think in your brains who I'm referring to.
May I BUTT in? Please read the situation. The game was Greenlit so people wanted that game and the game was created for these people! (i bet that not that many iPad owners will buy it on Steam anyway, so target audience are non-mobile owners)
+ the game was remade from Flash and mobile platform into UNITY engine. Even though it is a straignt copy-paste you need some effort (AND MONEY) to make the same game from scratch on a new engine. (e.g check out Black Messa - a HD remake of HL1, it took many years to make it possible)
In addition the game came out WITHOUT MICROTRANSATIONS (and yes this is very important - just becasue YOU don't use it on mobile, maybe someone else did) and all of the heroes are avaliable from scratch.
As a bonus some additional content was developed for both PC and mobile versions (and i bet it wouldn't happen if it wasn't for the Steam version).
Ignoring the framerate bug (i hope they will fix it), this is a good game for buck in comparisson to the Mobile where every hero costs 3,5$.
In addition the possibilities of future updates with Steam presence are quite promissing.
The price is fair! The only bashing this game deserves is the fricking Framerate Bug! So stop whining - if you are so proud that you bought a game for 0,99$ and didn't spend a dollar to support the developer (lol don't want to spend money on games get out from Steam!!) don't be rude and ♥♥♥♥ talk them for putting a fair price for a game that is one of the best TD's. DEVELOPERS NEED TO EAT TOO!
