This isn't a controller type of game. It's a tower defense game. You'll be using the mouse 90% of the time.

Not sure if it has controller support or not though.

It doesn't have a controller support, and it would be terrible with it. Not every game is designed with a controller in mind, in this game being able to click (tap) on the other side of the screen quickly is very important. So - mouse, touch screen work great, controller would leave the player at a disadvantage. I would even say it would not be possible to complete the game with it.

Why would you ever want to play this game with a controller? Platformer, sure. FPS, maybe. Tower defense? Hell no!

Have you played this game? Some tower defense games, e.g. Defense Grid work perfectly with a controller. Here you have to be able to cast spell, teleport from one corner of the map to the other, the game would be much more difficult with a controller. I can imagine players complaining that some maps are unbeatable. Map controller to mouse movements and see yourself.

I don't see any reason why this game doesn't have controller support from a design standpoint. It would make my day a lot brighter if I could play this game as I'm currently (still!!) laid up in bed in too much pain to sit in a chair ( from back sugery. )

I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to spend much time sitting fully upright, so I'm really only buying games with controller support for the time being.

You could think of a small wireless keyboard with a touchpad, there are models like that not much bigger than a controller that work really well in a situation like this.

These kind of games are not meant to be played with a controller. It would be very frustrating because you need to make delicate and fast moves, something that only a mouse or your finger can acomplish. Imagine playing Fruit Ninja with a gamepad..
