The Dark Tower
Has anyone else had any problems with this last map? I've changed up my skill points, used a different hero, changed up my tower placements and stretegies, and I can't figure out how to beat this damned level. My most recent iteration got me through the final wave, I defeated what's his name to make him turn into the demon, and his health is lower than 20% but he still makes it through.

What sucks is that I can't get anymore skill stars because they're freaking IMPOSSIBLE themselves. I'm so frustrated with this game that I'm close to uninstalling. Someone help, please.

PS - I've watched guides and tutorials over the last map on other websites, but it appears as if the game has changed since then, so I'm not sure if their tower layout still works.

I know your pain friend! The Tesla and Arcane Wizard towers are crucial. One or two Rangers Hideouts (Damage over time and slow) and/or Big Berthas (AOE and decent damage missile) can also be useful, but the focus should be on the Tesla and Arcane Wizard Towers. I would suggest using a ranged hero, either Alleria Swiftwind (Bow Lady) or Elora Wintersong (Ice Lady).

If you require more stars for levelling, then try completing the earlier levels on Heroic and Iron modes.

After browsing the internet, this guide maybe useful:

Good luck!

got my teeth kicked in on that level like 20 times before consulting a guide.
now i know Tesla is OP, kinda meh that the solution to many scenarios is building one tesla at the beginning and go from there

It's the Wave 8 Necros that do me in, every single time. Building up a Tesla before then while still holding the line is a bit tricky, to say the least. The Necromancers are not supposed to have any magical or explosion resistance, but they take far less damage each hit than even brigands, who take magical damage like a marshamallow takes a grand piano being dropped on it.

You need to level up the first ability on the Teslas, which means they do steady damage to ALL enemies in range. I think it is Pure Damage too (i.e. ignores armour+magic resistance).

I'll try that out, thanks for the tip! :)
