Best way to learn is to just color.

Go here http://www.portalgraphics.net/pg/, choose a drawing you like the coloring and you dream to be able to do the same, download the event file and watch it in OpenCanvas! (put, inside the program, the event list window in front to also read info about every event) For best confort, register it with a screen recording program so you can go forward and rewind while learning.

Skills aren't something you are born with. Skill is learned. If you are going to tell people not to buy a program because you don't have skill in it, that's not trying particularly hard, nor is it helpful. There are all sorts of how to draw books out there; half-price book stores almost always have some. Start with the basics on physical media, invest in a digitizing tablet, like wacom or some other brand, and learn to draw before you tell people not to buy software you don't know how to use.

Think of it as one of the games in Steam that have the highest skill cap :P

I've been drawing "seriously" for 2 years and my stuff is somewhat decent, but not that good.
