Is there meta progression?
To me that's one of the most important things for this genre. Something to work toward, and getting stronger as you play

Yes, There is 8 characters to unlock + their special abilities, next there is guns and difficulties each requiring to modifying gameplay style. Overall there meta progression for at least 12h probably more..

So only Rougelike meta unlocks and no stat based resource sink Rougelite progression?

That's a pass from me, lemme know if you add in Rougelite progression, preferably infinitely scaling

Yes, there is content update in the works. From meta progression alone there will be introduced character special skill meta progression, and gun stats meta progression. While it's not gonna be infinite, it will greatly expand content.

Dont buy it yet. The games is so unbalanced its crazy. You die alot and the hit boxes are huge. You have room to around trees and rocks but for some reason when you try to....the ones that are up against something...you get stuck and stunned by the zombies. Its unfair and the skills and upgrades given are so low and terrible. The waves of zombies come in these huge boss like packs. Wait till the dev adds the ability to regain hearts through regen...not a seemingly nonexistant health vendor. Wait till you can run around objects up against other nodes/objects, and the days are longer. The gold drop rate, and iron bars drop rate also needs to be raised. The totems do nothing really either...Ive activated all of them. Game is so stressful to play...im thinking of refunding till he is done adding and removing what the players have discussed.

Because you cannot beat the game doesn’t mean it’s unbalanced…

lol right its unbalanced man. Everyone is saying so. Except for you. If it talks like a duck, walks like a duck...its a duck. I think the last time I heard someone say something with the words "beat the game" in it...they were 10. Act like a grown up please and refrain immature comments.

In short, you are saying that the game is too hard for you, but you don’t want to admit it and putting the blame on the game.

The basic mechanic is great and I love the idea. The first day or two when resources are close it's easy to gather and build your character. By day 3 or 4 you have to run further to get resources and there isn't enough time to get enough to get strong enough to face the zombies. Day 6 or so, you're lucky to get even one resource run in so the game gets harder but your character stays the same.

I've beaten normal difficulty despite this, but at the next level it feels painfully slow and unrewarding.

These are just my personal experiences, I appreciate everyone sees things differently and will not agree with me on this. Ultimately it's your game and should play as you intend it to be

Time progression is the first thing that needs to be fixed. The time during the day should be extended by double and the skill screen being opened should pause the game. The totems need to actually do something and make the game play more balanced. The most annoying thing though is the fact there is no regen mechanic or way to get health back. The skill upgrade for hearts is there but that doesnt really count. We should be able to regen health or pick up hearts somewhere. It says there is a health trader or something but he is nowhere to be found. I think if there is a health trader..you shouldnt have to find him or uncover him. Please put him in as a static npc located at the fire that you can trade with whenever you want. Though it should cost a fair amount to get a heart back. I would say no more than 50 or 60 gold. Maybe wood and stone used instead of gold. But the gold drops and metal bars or whatever need to raised. Death comes way too fast, and any progress made when you die, is lost anyway. The zombies lock you in the middle of them so you cant get out. There should be a dash mechanic in place to get out of that. The fire/explosion feature is useless. I dont like it at all. The skills or elemental type aoe attacks that stay around the hero chosen does way too little damage and they are not fun. Attacks need to address crowd control. Like some sort of lightning attack or a multi attack. Vampire survivors is a great example of how big attacks or certain skills can help a player get out of a hopeless situation. The garlic attack is a good example. It actually does pretty good damage and like your similar skill in this game, it surrounds the player. But yours does very little damage and doesnt help at all. The fire attacks in this game dont feel right for some reason. Not only are they not effective but they kind of make things more hectic and confusing. Burning attacks or fire attacks should be quick and kill them fast in games like this. Especially since the mobs are so strong here. The big guys die way too slow.

In short, you are saying how I FEEL and assuming things you know nothing about. You dont know what my thoughts are. For you to say you do is very odd actually. I dont think its too hard. I think it's unbalanced and a few fixes like longer days..would balance out the game and make it more fun. I feel a game CAN actually seem hard to players who feel bored playing a game because of lack of exciting content. If there were a few attacks in this game like the ones in Vampire Survivors, it could give players that wow factor they seek. Im not saying to make the game like VS at all. Just add a few big boom attacks that are exciting and fun. I understand that VS is overwhelming and huge, and dont expect any game to follow that game's example.
