Cant start game since update

Hi folks, I hope someone has an idea and can help me.

Since the last update from 07.06.2024 im unable to start the game. After i click "start" 2 UAC windows are popping up (which i confirm) and then Steam is stuck. It is stuck and telling me GamingRepair.PROGRAM.

In some rare occasions i see the title screen of the game, and then its stuck there. I have to kill the process manually.

When i look at the patch notes (https://steamdb.info/patchnotes/14640645/) i see that this "GamingRepair.exe" and some install scripts were added with the lastest update.

+ Im running W11
+ I tried un-/reinstalling the game
+ I completely removed steam an reinstalled it
+ Latest drivers installed
+ Its happening since the last update

Any ideas what i can do? Is there a possibility to install the previous version?

Had the same problem, verifying integrity of game files fixed it for me. Though, had to wait a bit after that, it seemed like it was still stuck at GamingRepair.PROGRAM, but the game finally launched.

Open windows notifications (right bottom at win 10) there you
ll see xbox or smth like that process - close it and start the game again - after that this process will open up again but succesfully uploaded and the game will start

dude have you find a solution yet? i have the same problem tried everything it drives me crazy

dude i didn't understand what you said , there is no notification related to Xbox or whatsoever , i tried everything even contacted Ninja Theory support even they couldn't help me irony is Ninja Theory didn't have support someone from Microsft had to answer . lol

dude i didn't understand what you said , there is no notification related to Xbox or whatsoever , i tried everything even contacted Ninja Theory support even they couldn't help me irony is Ninja Theory didn't have support someone from Microsft had to answer . lol

how we are supposed to fix it then? thats crazy

solved this issue by uninstalling the GPU driver and installing a fresh GPU driver

Thanks, I just did that and the game still cannot start.
I even uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game.

what's your GPU ? is it an RTX ? i did uninstall the drivers at first then downlloaded a new but it didn't work , there are two drivers on the website i downloaded the other one and then it worked

nothing written above works for me (and seems many others)
AMD 5900X + RX6950XT, can't get past the first loading screen, computer locks up, nothing helps but hard reset.
