FSR3 FRAME Gen Works in Hellblade 2
I was able to get FSR3 Frame Gen to work in Hellblade 2.

Even With a mod it was being difficult but you have to select some things in the correct sequence for it to actually turn on. You will need LukeFZ FSR3 mod but it has to be a newer version 0.10.4 or it won't work. I was trying with the 0.10.3 and it would just crash every time.

1440p with fsr3 to quality mode on high preset

Performance is quite great and even my 6900xt OC (stock 6950xt speeds) can outperform an nvidia rtx 4080 in this title.

What gpu do you have never specified? Also the only way to get an accurate test really is to test in the exact same location / save game file.

At the first start of the game I was getting 180 fps, does that mean the whole game is going to run that throughout? No it wont. Lighting, fog, fire, time of day, fighting, etc all play a factor.

No you are not, you are getting a cropped image missing imagery on left and right, unless you are the only one that have managed to remove the letterboxing without cropping the image.

Unreal has ini settings to allow the aspect ratio to match your display lol there also settings to remove all of the post processing.

You just don't know what changing the aspect ratio actually does lol even if the FOV changes (you can keep this from happening as well with ini changes, as someone already pointed out in that link lol) you're still rendering a full 16:9 image on a 16:9 display.

Cropping means taking an existing image and only showing part of it, meaning if you crop a 2.39:1 frame at 4K you're going to be rendering far fewer pixels than both that 2.39:1 frame and a native 4K frame and that isn't how that works when adjusting the aspect ratio.

When adjusting that aspect ratio the game renders full, native frames, not "cropped" versions of the 2.39:1 frames.

That doesn't work for AMD. I have heard people say 50/50 it works on nvidia and if it does looks very blurry.
So what I know that works

uniscaler preview 8 by Lukefz - easiest to get working

0.10.4 paired with another .dll file called sl.interposer.dll from a mod I found on Nexus mods.
This is the way I got it to work because I already canceled by subscription on LukeFz patreon awhile back.

3rd way is to use lossless scaling app

On that spot in the game a RTX 4080 outperform a RX 6950xt with 56% without using FG. But just like you i have no comparison 🤡

It comes down to whatever card the game is optimized for. XTX is beating 4090 in Modern Warfare and Remnant 2 because those are AMD optimized games. Meanwhile 4080 are beating XTX in games like Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk because they are optimized for Nvidia and super focused on RTX and upscalers. That being said your 4080 isn't natively beating a 6950 with FSR and FG. No way in hell lol. FG pretty much doubles the FPS if not more. I did a few videos on this and the gains were absurd but I prefer native so there's that.
You shouldn't still be using 0.10.x versions of FSR2FSR3 Luke mods. They're outdated.
Use his Uniscaler mod.

I canceled the patreon before, but I just tried the lossless version now and it works fine.

For people having issues with the uniscaler version make sure you disable the black bars and lens distortion or the Frame gen won't work properly.

This is what I am running in my engine.exe now and the Latest uniscaler preview 8 works just fine.

FSR 3 looks bad in this. There are big wobbly artefacts where the sky meets the horizon, at all levels of FSR. Maybe it looks better on AMD cards.
