How's your GPU handling Hellblade 2?
These are my results but to be honest I was expecting higher framerates without the use of upscaling, dynamic resolution or frame generation at native resolutions higher than 1080p. :steamsad:

Max settings, 1440p, 60 fps locked with DLSS Quality on a 4070 Ti Super. The game runs really well, but it is close to maxing out the GPU at those settings, so it is the most demanding game I've played without hardware ray-tracing / path-tracing. And it runs with black bars to save performance.

I sadly own a 2070 so I won't even try it :<

It is pretty brutal on GPUs. I tried searching on YouTube for others playing without upscaling, dynamic resolution or frame generation at native resolutions and mostly found nearly all uploads were using those methods mentioned for better performance/fps.

You should try anyway just to see if it can run decently at all. Don't forget it has a lot of methods to increase performance/fps but it's crazy that it's practically required with this game, haha!

Slight necro but it runs at a serviceable 35-50 FPS on my GTX 1080 with Intel XeSS on Ultra Quality Plus and medium preset graphical settings. I7-10700k and 16 GB DDR4 RAM.

Overall i'm happy to be able to experience this game at acceptable settings but I must say that 1080p looks a little weird in terms of hairs and beards on characters.

I am definitely looking to experience the game again in full graphical fidelity when i eventually upgrade in the future :)

I have 5.5 hours in so far on a steam deck and love it and i play it no issues, i cant imagine the potatoes the haters are trying to play it on.

Since I have a 4080 Super, it's pretty fine. Mostly stable 60 fps at native 1440p & ultra settings with letterboxing removed and original fov kept.

terrible lowering the res from 1080p hardly even helps this game is CPU heavy? like pretty much every new release, also my 3070 heats up to about ten million degrees at all times when running this walk simulator.

This game will rape your GPU's. I got only little bit over 100 fps 4K DLLS 3 + Quality High textures with my 4090. Sometimes dipping nearby 90's.

on average 45-50 with dlaa and 70-80 with dlssQ 4090 But this is at the very beginning of about 10 minutes of the game, maybe later the results will be worse, I don’t know
I'm playing with dlss

A few little dips, but largely fine at 60fps with vsync (had to turn it on because of tearing) and DLAA. It is giving my oc'd 3080ti a real workout on 1440p all the same. Probably for the best I'm playing with closed back headphones...

Use Frame Gen so you get little boost there also

I gotta say that GTX 1080 is still a GOAT for still being usable today in 2024. BTW thought this thread was dead so I haven't bothered looking until now. LOL

Glad to hear it! Might get a Steam Deck myself eventually.

That's like a $1200 GPU, no? For that price it better play fine. lol
