I'm at 1440p with a 3080ti though, and I think the specs hinted at that being more than plenty for maxed out with DLAA.
I don't know.
Hellblade 1 runs awful on PC today, yes, the RTX edition. So much stutter, traverse and compile, all over, throughout the entire experience. Jarring and annoying.
Hellblade 2, incredible and honest performance.
Game IS demanding, but runs flawlessly.
To this day, Alan Wake 2, is the MOST demanding modern gen title, period.
This game will be playable at or slightly above 60 fps, without Framegen on a 4090. DLSS Quality will raise the bar another 15-20fps at 80-90 ish FPS.
Framegen will keep you well above 120 FPS at 4k.
4080's / 4090's are playing at high frames with max settings.
Amd higher end gpus are running this game extremely well too. Even an older 6950xt is matching the performance of an rtx 4080 in this game at native. Once you turn on FG and upscale to match that of the nvidia 4080 equivalent it will outperform it.

Everything made on it is a stuttery mess on PC.
Yea, thats goodstuff for AMD too.
Solid optimization, a first on UE5 in a lonnnnnnnnnng time for PC.
Optimization this time around for a PORT that's on UE5 on PC, its actually a GOOD, performative port.
Extremely impressive -- Now... The combat and Gameplay is a whollllle other topic, sigh... Big sigh.
Yes, in general, I'd agree with you.
But this port is incredible on PC. The performance is not a stuttery mess, and I 'know' it did a compile step in the first 20-seconds because I saw my CPU (14700k) jump to 200wats and all cores hit 98-99 usage for about 12 or so seconds.
The process was fast, and the game itself runs like a charm - I honestly was worried for another disaster, but that is NOT the case. First proper UE5 game on PC... about facking time.
Thanks mate, I gotta check this game out - I was on the fence with Layers of Fear.
