Crazy Performance Issue
Can anyone suggest me a logical configuration to have a better performance please?
I have NVidia 3050 - i5-12450H as CPU and 16GB ram and getting a little more than 3 FPS :rcry:

I'm using Nukem's mod for framegen on my 3070 ti which does work just fine: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/738?tab=description
i'm using the universal version with the dbghelp.dll, lossless scaling framegen is another option, there is also uniscaler from LukeFZ which works similar to Nukem's mod.

This should at least double your fps, as with all UE games Rebar does work and gives a small fps increase of 5-6 fps just set rebar- feature to enabled in nvidiainspector.

Thanks, was looking for a frame generation mod as I only have the PC Game Pass version. Not going to pay for a game I already have unless they release a VR version like they did with the original Hellblade.

And you also wouldn't put everything up to NASA computer level and then complain either. There are limits, even on a 4090.

if i paid that much for a powerful setup i best be sure to put everything up to nasa level otherwise wasted money not using your hardware to its full potential its like buying a bugatti veyron and driving at 20mph

lol 1080p 45fps is fine. that dude benchmarks with very low end graphics cards probably the type to not care or notice a difference lol

Thanks for system-shaming! After a couple of fiddling with NVidia configs and Win behaviors, I managed to run the game around 30~ish FPS, which is pretty enough for me. I wish you had more information on what you're talking about.

runs like ass on 3070 as well.

You are not alone.

Did you also install the latest drivers?

Unfortunately, your system is too weak for comfortable gameplay...

this game not really taxing on GPU , but not the same for CPU
running on laptop rtx 4080 , tested 1080p and 2k all max setting , no vrs shadow , no dynamic resolution , without dlss it can perform a 60 fps steady but lucky i get a good CPU

but if feel game was really not optimized on PC
working as freelancer on game industry , UE5 isn't an engine so taxing for config , :)
its just it cost time , money to let the engine dooing his own stuff so game running as hell , and without a i9 good luck xD

reminds me on some old pro key notes , epic showing for the first time , the new feature BP ( visual coding , to resume widget box that remplace code C+) , but for years dev don't bother to program on native C+ , but use BP and game running as hell , stuttering when there's a call for real time event actor in the engine lol

this same nowdays with new real time lod/light and co from UE5

I have a 3070 and tried it at 1080p high settings plus DLSS on Quality, got like 15fps max
Setting it down to medium quality and it jumped to constant 70+fps, I dunno how that even is possible. 4K is a no go for this one

try to min/max setting without dlss at 1080p
UE5 , ( dev ) don't really use GPU ressource for task so with dlss enable , you'll ghet worst experience because of the CPU .
to resume UE5 see dlss turn on , task go to cpu on priority than GPU at lower resolution
if GPU isn't fulled used .
dlss on UE5 will be more effenciency at hight resolution uspacilng based on the native render on the game . FSR will be more effennciecy even for ndvia gpu at 1080p

I Have tested this on my 30 series, 40 series and 1650. since you have a newer 3050 card than 1650, lets compare. on 1650 the game runs at 30+ using fsr 3 - quality, preset quality - low, resolution - 1080p... the game won't do anything much until you restart the game. for medium settings, fsb - quality, resolution - 720, preset quality - medium - high then restart or else it will stuck at 3-10fps.. sometimes running at medium quality, fsr - quality with resolution - 1080p its like 20 fps then all of sudden the game freezes then started running smooth over 30fps.. so i think the game need some optimization because if my 1650 can run it then your rtx 3050 most definitely can and especially if thats the 6gb version.

DEVs don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about optimization anymore since DLSS exists. If they still would there would be no performance issues at all.

DLSS and the like is a cancer rotting through computer games ruining innovation and optimization.

edit: btw the game has HUGE cinematic black bars so it's not even full 1080p, more like 900p.
Wrong, sadly, this is what to expect from a 3070 and UE5. And why the hell aren´t you using DLSS instead of DLAA ?
You didn´t learn much from games like Remnant 2, did you ?

They can't fix you buying garbage hardware without doing your due dilligence in research.
