If you didn't like the original for what it was designed to do and be then I'd think the chances of you liking this one depends solely on whether your tastes have changed. Ninja Theory's philosophy about how they're making the Hellblade series hasn't, and they've been telling us that for years now.
Just go watch gameplay for the first game. That is this game but with more refinement. Why is that so hard? I don't recall NT promising anything more lol.
Ever hear the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"? If you liked the first game, then you will like this one as well. If you didn't like the first game, you will not like this one either.

If you look very closely you'll see where it switches, it's almost entirely seamless though.
As said before by others the graphics is just that good. The game is in Unreal Engine 5.4 so...
If you don't think that's actual gameplay then there is nothing wrong in waiting until some YouTuber plays a bit and uploads their gameplay.
Yeah it is actually surprising that they managed to create a cinematic gameplay with such high fidelity with an extremely smooth transition from gameplay to cutscene. The game may be short, but it will be feast for the eyes lol. I mean effectively treat this game as an interactive movie, but a lot of people don't like that. Still, it is very impressive what NT managed to create with UE5.
