There are points where it loads assets from your drive in the background. Even on an NVMe you will notice. This is an Unreal Engine issue

That is hardly related. All that does is divide GPU between your active programs. If you don't have any other active windows that use GPU, it does nothing

That's what I'm talking about. But people continue to lie that they don't have these issues. The Problem is that consoles don't have UE stutters and this is a big problem for PC gaming.

yes its stutters from time to time. i reach over 100fps easy on highest settings on 1080p, but even if i lock it to 60 fps it gets some micro stutters from time to time, even if the pc is chilling completely with the fps lock. seems like some shader issue or something like that, but its only microstuttering. so the fps drop to 58 instead of 60. i played it through on xbox game pass not steam.

But i have to say the first part from 2017 stutters a little bit too. in all other games my pc is complete fluent like liquid

Same for me, running it easily on high 1080p 70-100 fps native without dlss, and having this micro-stutters as well but they aren't that frequent or game breaking, probably something to do with the game engine itself, don't really see this kind of micro stutters elsewhere recently when I play...

Guys, I see people talking about two different things here. There are minor stutters when traversing, loading assets. The OP is talking about the micro-stutter that occurs when using a mouse. The mouse stutters do not appear if using a controller or the arrow keys on the keyboard, only if using a mouse. I have already reported it as a bug, please do the same.

Even new Lords of Fallen? And No rest for the wicked? What about first Hellblade?

Playing Ghosts of Tsushima lately, no weird stuttering there.

Cause Ghosts of Tsushima made on another engine. This is not an answer on my question.

100% the stutters are caused by mouse imput. i have the exactly same problem with 4080 i7 13700k . I tried all settings vsync gsync everyting. Its works flawlesly with controller. but stutters with mouse movement ( also tried different DPI or pull rate AND different mouse)

Yep. Go ahead and open a ticket with the devs. That way they can fix it

This could be related to mouse polling rate being ridiculously high like 4000-8000 hz which is pretty common nowadays. In my opinion 1000 hz is enough for everything. Going over that is pretty much snake oil and it has super diminishing returns.

I'm saying this because extremely high mouse polling rates have been causing stutters for some people in other demanding titles. This is anecdotal, not well documented fact but it makes sense from a technical standpoint so feel free to try it out.

I've had no stutters so far on i7 13700K, 3070 Ti, 32GB DDR5 and NvMe SSD @ 1440p / 1000 hz PR.

Hi, not sure if you tried this but last night I changed the power management setting in the control panel to "maximum performance" in the Nvidia control panel for the Hellblade 2 profile and it helped to mitigate the stuttering in my system which has a really old CPU now. There are instances of stutter particularly when loading new areas but I notice them less than I did before. Maybe give it a try if you haven't.

I have and i7-7700K paired with a RTX 4090.

Yeah, I'm using a ryzen 7 3800x, 3070 and 16gb ram(barely enough to run windows now). I'm using dlss, tried TSR too but still had the problem. Found I don't get stutters when I change from high to medium settings tho. It's just super small stutters if I look around slowly, could explain why they have 10 lvls of motion blur? - also, I'm running at 50 fps solid with dlss on quality or 60 consistently with balanced dlss or tsr for reference
