It is biology to a degree, sure. Pretty means more chance for mating. However, human brains have developed far beyond that. There is a thing called taste that will all but guarantee that there are men out there who love how Senua looks.

Some men like small breasts. A lot of men, actually. Faces alone are an extremely complex matter. There are some beauty standards that make it more likely for a face to be perceived as attractive, but it's not at all like 100% of men think this face is pretty but that face is ugly unless you go to absolute extremes of the spectrum.

Senua is at worst mid. I think far more men would say she's attractive than not, if they saw the actress on the street. Google Melina Juergens and tell me she's ugly compared to the average woman you see at the super market.

Above all, though, What you don't seem to understand is that you don't need to be attracted to a game character. A game's job is not to make you wanna mate. Evidenced by the the fact you've probably played many games with a male protagonist and didn't mind that your mating tube stayed all flabby the whole time. You were simply focusing on the game rather than some primordial urge to produce offspring.

there's two different things we're talking about here and I think I do not disagree with you in the slightest, but you can look at it like "is the character as presented in the game ugly" or "is senua herself horribly ugly - sans the situation, body language, dirt, weird facial expressions and drama crazy insane BS"


obviously the complete package is more relevant in this case, but I understood the discussion more like the second version, i.e. without everything in the game that increases her lack of appeal.

frankly, she is grotesque and repulsive if she was on the street as a person. especially since she also lacks secondary female body parts.
but she has a good facial structure. she's just like 40 or something... it's just another game with a women that is made to be not attractive.

so I think she herself, if she took care of herself, was 20, not 40 and took a shower would be not ugly, but the game and the dev team does everything to make her so.

ask any AI to create a hot chick fighting a sword battle in the tundra and you get a real looker.
so if an AI can do that in 0.5 seconds, why on earth should ANY of the people involved in this project EVER be allowed to work on a game ever again?

they should not. ban them all and their ilk from the industry

Where is it written in my comment that I am anti evolution ? You're reading too much into words that are common sense. Tastes are different for everybody, what I find ugly could be good looking to you and vice versa.
Evolution happens in the spawn of millions of years, not the 1400 years or so that would separate that games era to today's.
Also, my wife is very good looking thank you. You could even say I'm the hambeast and chose me cause I treat her like a human being not a "genetic malfunction" like your kind.

Senua is in her 30s or so, just like the actress that plays her.
You guys see a pagan woman having psycho episodes in the wilds and your first preoccupation be: Where boobs though.

I don't know why you're all so hooked on how said pagan woman is supposed to look in a time where the concept of soap was barely even known.

These games are not meant for your kind and will never be.

You can still play Stellar Blade though, lots of boobs and jiggle physics, perfect for low IQ thinking individuals.
